The historic houses, which were originally at John and Adelaide Streets, are ready to be moved to a temporary location, on a parking lot on the east side of John Street. They will be relocated on Saturday 13th of August. They will remain at this site until the condo at John and Adelaide Streets is completed, and the houses can be safely placed in their permanent location near the TIFF building.
This young construction worker knew about this blog. I believe he was telling me that he thought it was “number one.”
This morning (Thursday 11 August), the CBC was interviewing people passing the old houses.
The houses will be relocated on Saturday to the parking lot on the east side of John Street (right-hand side of the photo). Come and watch. It may be your only chance to see houses dance across a street while you are sober.
